He sits at the bar, leaning against the counter and lifting a hand to the bartender, who nods. He's a regular, so the demon on duty knows to bring him a whiskey.]
Any new scars? Doesn't take long for that to happen here.
[Hell and all. Don't mind him asking in such a roundabout way if she's okay.]
Just because you're a thief [she takes her glass back to get a drink] doesn't mean you get to steal from me.
[She smiles, wryly.] First day. [But that's not what is really bothering her, no. It's Snart, in Hell, after he saved them. It's John possibly spiraling a place like this. It's Ray. Ray Palmer. Who has no business in Hell, ever. And Laurel.]
[She's not ready to talk about it, not just this second. So she takes another drink, instead.]
[Her jaw clenches to that. People still died here? They killed Leo? Yeah, she's not remotely pleased by that.] How did you come back?
[The whiskey has great timing, because she knocks back her glass to this news, and Leonard owes her a taste. She reaches to grab his glass and take her dues.]
Apparently it's some kind of Hell magic where you wake up the next day with a hangover and some new scars if you die. I don't recommend it.
[Leonard's about to go for his whiskey when it gets commandeered instead. He doesn't mind. After Sara takes her dues, he follows her lead and shoots the rest of it, signaling for more.]
Some idiot had placed bombs all around the area and I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
[As she already started this with a hug, she just nudges Leonard's shoulder this time.] Recommendation taken into consideration. I'd like to avoid it, myself. [Seeing as she was bad at avoiding it back home.]
[She signals for another shot for herself.] Same.
[Far beyond annoyed, Sara looks up at Leonard.] Some idiot better hope I never find out who they are.
[It's the least she can do for him. Especially since she wasn't here when it happened.]
Oh, we need to get Ray out of here, too. [Adjusted or not, she still loathes he's there.] Along with my sister. [Also really, really doesn't belong there.]
Ready to punch you in the face. [She needs to take a drink, herself.] But it's out of love, really.
[The implication that Mick is here makes him tense, but he says nothing of it.]
Your sister. That is too bad. [He wanted to ask if she remembered dying or if this was her sister from a different time and place like the past Ray and Constantine he'd known. Time really is a joke.]
Been here for a while. Haven't learned much beyond the whole Lucifer-has-daddy-issues nonsense. There have been escape attempts. None of them successful, obviously.
[She laughs a little at the play on words, but otherwise lets go. What's between Mick and Snart? Well, best it stays between them. Not that she won't intervene if she feels she needs to. She's never been good at staying out of it.]
[Not even Sara has asked, but she's gathered enough to know this Laurel hasn't died, not yet. Time is a joke, she'd willingly agree.] Yeah. Laurel doesn't deserve this place. At all.
[She downs her glass, again.] Lucky we don't have to pay here, or I'd be bankrupt.
[Again, she listens. Again, she frowns.] Well, the daddy issues are pretty obvious. What attempts have been made already? Whatever's been tried, we know not to waste our time on.
You're supposed to repent here, but Hell doesn't do anything to encourage it. It's all about adding more sins to the list. Alcohol helps.
[The thought prompts him to have another drink from his glass.]
The bombings may have been one, or at least a distraction while some recon was done. Constantine opened a portal that just brought beasts into town. [He assumes she knows him - a different Constantine mentioned the Waverider to him once.]
There's probably some kind of resistance here. It's also likely not hard to find if you wanted to.
Of course. Why encourage us to repent when we can just drink more and have more sex! [She sucks in a lip on that one. They hadn't been talking about sex, Sara. But, well, that's been her main Hell experience, so far. Sex, alcohol, and running into people she knows.]
That's a stupid distraction if there were causalities. [Okay, not really. But it doesn't matter. One of her own got hurt. That's all she cares about.]
Sounds like John.... [If things were going to go wrong on him, they would go wrong in Hell, where he needed it even less. She still smiles about it, though.]
[There's a slight playfulness in his eyes as he glances from his glass to Sara. He's well aware of her tastes and habits, despite knowing her such a short time. Much like him, he guesses she doesn't actually have a problem with that aspect of Hell at least.]
It's encouraged. Obviously. [Nods to the dancers around them in various states of undress, many of them completely nude and looking fully human if you didn't look too closely.]
I never said the apparent resistance had any brains. It's likely the one thing they're sorely lacking.
[She doesn't see any reason to deny her base instincts and desires when the temptation remains all around her, and they never know when they're due for torture. Her smile widens as her eyes ghost over Leonard when he gestures to the dancers.]
Which does make the whole redemption aspect suspicious.
[Again, her jaw tightens. Stupid or not, if she found them, they were dead.]
You haven't joined any resistance? [Probably no point to it, but at the same time, Lucifer was rubbing her wrong with some of his choices.]
[His eyes linger on her for a moment, trying not to focus on how the club lights colorfully reflected on her hair. He still isn't over how she was happy to see him. That was a rarity even when he was alive.]
Indulge all you want. It seems fairly arbitrary who is brought here. Most people I know of haven't died. I'm actually dead, so I can't say I'm in any particular hurry to leave.
[Maybe there's a little guilt there, at not having found out what could have been with Leonard when she had the chance. At not being able to save him, save one of their team.]
[When his gaze lingers, she feels it and looks back at him, only to smile again. It's a sense of nostalgia, and a softness at finding someone after thinking she would never see them again.]
[She does frown a little when he points out he's dead.] Aren't you supposed to die to go to Hell? I'm still confused how some of us are here, but I'm pretty sure we're still alive.
I know. As far as last moments go, I don't think I could have had a better one.
[He's thought about it from time to time. That reluctance in her eyes, not wanting to leave him. That kiss. Not a bad way to go. Most of all he appreciates that she didn't try to argue with him. They just took Mick and got out of there like he wanted.]
Death doesn't seem to be a prerequisite. Barry certainly hadn't died - he was from an even earlier point in time than I was.
[His last wish had been to get Mick out of there, so, of course she didn't waste time in arguing. She had done what he wanted, instead.]
Odd.
I thought that was how you ended up in Hell, though? So.... [She sucks on her bottom lip for a second.] Are we even in Hell? Or are we being toyed with? [Wouldn't be the first time.]
What were the other places like if this is your favorite? [Though, she's not really surprised. Hell was pretty much paradise for people like Leonard and Mick. At least, this version of it.]
Science sex world and fairy sex world. One for research and one for entertainment. If you didn't want to follow the rules, something would happen one way or another to make you want to.
[Shrugs, not having a problem with it - he'd never been made to do anything. Didn't have to be.]
I've been in Hell the longest. Nice break from all of that.
[She scrunches up her nose, uncomfortable at the idea.]
I prefer doing things because I want to, not because I'm being made to. [Control - it really matters to her, considering her blood lust issue. It's going to only become more important as she experiences more aboard the Waverider.]
There's nothing wrong with liking it here. If this is where you wanna be, Leonard, I'll support that.
Hardly. But you and Mick are here now, so it definitely got a whole lot better.
No one would choose to be in Hell, Sara. I just can't go home. Even if I could end up in some other strange world tomorrow.
[It's already depressing to think about and would be fitting for him to disappear now that he was in the same place as Mick again. As Sara. He even liked Ray being around.]

You could probably find out easily. I didn't because I was too busy getting mother henned by Barry. Barely left my bed for a few days after that.
Died in his arms, probably traumatized the poor kid. Glad he's gone.

Yeah.... He doesn't belong here.
