Captain Sara Lance can't answer her phone right now, and if you leave a message I can't promise I'll get back to you, either.
Feel free to leave one anyway.

[She signals for another shot for herself.] Same.
[Far beyond annoyed, Sara looks up at Leonard.] Some idiot better hope I never find out who they are.
no subject
[Teases lightly, giving her a nudge back.]
You could probably find out easily. I didn't because I was too busy getting mother henned by Barry. Barely left my bed for a few days after that.
Died in his arms, probably traumatized the poor kid. Glad he's gone.
no subject
[Once a Legend? Always a Legend. And Leonard was one of the first. Never mind he's Leonard. She eases a little at the returned, nudge.]
[But damn this place. Died in Barry's arms? Yeah. She is so going to kill someone.]
Yeah.... He doesn't belong here.
no subject
Neither does our resident Eagle Scout, for that matter. Seems to be better adjusted than Barry was at least.
[Taking a sip of his refilled whiskey, he looks away, trying to be nonchalant about his next question.]
So. How's Mick?
no subject
Oh, we need to get Ray out of here, too. [Adjusted or not, she still loathes he's there.] Along with my sister. [Also really, really doesn't belong there.]
Ready to punch you in the face. [She needs to take a drink, herself.] But it's out of love, really.
no subject
[The implication that Mick is here makes him tense, but he says nothing of it.]
Your sister. That is too bad. [He wanted to ask if she remembered dying or if this was her sister from a different time and place like the past Ray and Constantine he'd known. Time really is a joke.]
Been here for a while. Haven't learned much beyond the whole Lucifer-has-daddy-issues nonsense. There have been escape attempts. None of them successful, obviously.
no subject
[Not even Sara has asked, but she's gathered enough to know this Laurel hasn't died, not yet. Time is a joke, she'd willingly agree.] Yeah. Laurel doesn't deserve this place. At all.
[She downs her glass, again.] Lucky we don't have to pay here, or I'd be bankrupt.
[Again, she listens. Again, she frowns.] Well, the daddy issues are pretty obvious. What attempts have been made already? Whatever's been tried, we know not to waste our time on.
no subject
[The thought prompts him to have another drink from his glass.]
The bombings may have been one, or at least a distraction while some recon was done. Constantine opened a portal that just brought beasts into town. [He assumes she knows him - a different Constantine mentioned the Waverider to him once.]
There's probably some kind of resistance here. It's also likely not hard to find if you wanted to.
no subject
That's a stupid distraction if there were causalities. [Okay, not really. But it doesn't matter. One of her own got hurt. That's all she cares about.]
Sounds like John.... [If things were going to go wrong on him, they would go wrong in Hell, where he needed it even less. She still smiles about it, though.]
no subject
[There's a slight playfulness in his eyes as he glances from his glass to Sara. He's well aware of her tastes and habits, despite knowing her such a short time. Much like him, he guesses she doesn't actually have a problem with that aspect of Hell at least.]
It's encouraged. Obviously. [Nods to the dancers around them in various states of undress, many of them completely nude and looking fully human if you didn't look too closely.]
I never said the apparent resistance had any brains. It's likely the one thing they're sorely lacking.
no subject
Which does make the whole redemption aspect suspicious.
[Again, her jaw tightens. Stupid or not, if she found them, they were dead.]
You haven't joined any resistance? [Probably no point to it, but at the same time, Lucifer was rubbing her wrong with some of his choices.]
no subject
[He gives Sara a look for that one.]
My hero moment is what got me here. One and done.
[His eyes linger on her for a moment, trying not to focus on how the club lights colorfully reflected on her hair. He still isn't over how she was happy to see him. That was a rarity even when he was alive.]
Indulge all you want. It seems fairly arbitrary who is brought here. Most people I know of haven't died. I'm actually dead, so I can't say I'm in any particular hurry to leave.
no subject
[Maybe there's a little guilt there, at not having found out what could have been with Leonard when she had the chance. At not being able to save him, save one of their team.]
[When his gaze lingers, she feels it and looks back at him, only to smile again. It's a sense of nostalgia, and a softness at finding someone after thinking she would never see them again.]
[She does frown a little when he points out he's dead.] Aren't you supposed to die to go to Hell? I'm still confused how some of us are here, but I'm pretty sure we're still alive.
WHOOPS thought I sent this a billion years ago
[He's thought about it from time to time. That reluctance in her eyes, not wanting to leave him. That kiss. Not a bad way to go. Most of all he appreciates that she didn't try to argue with him. They just took Mick and got out of there like he wanted.]
Death doesn't seem to be a prerequisite. Barry certainly hadn't died - he was from an even earlier point in time than I was.
It happens! No issue
Odd.
I thought that was how you ended up in Hell, though? So.... [She sucks on her bottom lip for a second.] Are we even in Hell? Or are we being toyed with? [Wouldn't be the first time.]
no subject
[Drums his fingers on the bar counter as he thought, offering a short shrug.]
I don't think this is the Hell. I think it's just another strange world that has a very convincing Hell theme.
no subject
That's possible. I thought of that, too.
no subject
[Shrugs, not having a problem with it - he'd never been made to do anything. Didn't have to be.]
I've been in Hell the longest. Nice break from all of that.
no subject
I prefer doing things because I want to, not because I'm being made to. [Control - it really matters to her, considering her blood lust issue. It's going to only become more important as she experiences more aboard the Waverider.]
There's nothing wrong with liking it here. If this is where you wanna be, Leonard, I'll support that.
no subject
No one would choose to be in Hell, Sara. I just can't go home. Even if I could end up in some other strange world tomorrow.
[It's already depressing to think about and would be fitting for him to disappear now that he was in the same place as Mick again. As Sara. He even liked Ray being around.]
no subject
I don't know. If my choice was between some place where I'd be forced to constantly do things against my will, but be alone, or be in Hell with my friends.... I'm picking where my friends are.
[She has way too many here she considers family to be anywhere else but home with them.]
Let's just get what we can out of this. That work for you? [She offers him a smile and raises her glass.]
no subject
[Lifts his glass to gently tap hers and then he threw it back to finish off in one go.]
Mick will be, too.
We can probably end? Do something new for October?
[Leonard has truly given her something to ponder.]
But I'm going to make sure I do a lot of things I want to do, too.
